Do you remember the ditty “Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I think I’ll go eat worms!” Well, some days we all feel like that.
I recently had a client who held that belief from an incident when she was 7 years old. It was a deep-seated subconscious belief that kept her at bay from believing in her success, her innate beauty and her feeling in touch with herself on a deep level.
Sometimes traumatic events or family incidents create a subconscious impression that serves us when we are 7 but doesn’t still serve us when we are 40 years old. Unfortunately, no one told the subconscious to stop playing that particular soundtrack.
By being able to tap into your subconscious we are able to change the station and reprogram the subconscious to play tunes that are more positive and upbeat.
So, if you seem to be butting your head against a wall and wonder why, there could be some background music playing that isn’t serving you anymore.
It’s really wonderful to see my clients leave the session whistling a happy tune.
